Is it possible to take Arthrozan and Combilipen at the same time? Compatibility
Artrosan and Kombilipen are prescribed in combination for diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The treatment is well tolerated by the body. Pharmacological agents are combined and complement each other's action. With simultaneous use, the severity of side effects decreases.
Characteristics of Artrosan
Artrosan is an anti-inflammatory non-steroidal drug. The drug contains meloxicam in an amount of 7.5 or 15 mg. The active component eliminates inflammatory processes, relieves fever, and reduces the severity of pain. At the site of inflammation, it inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins by reducing the activity of COX-2.
Artrosan is an anti-inflammatory non-steroidal drug.
The product replenishes the deficiency of B vitamins. The vitamin complex contains 100 mg of thiamine, 100 mg of pyridoxine, 1 mg of cyanocobalamin and 20 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride. Vitamin B improves the functioning of the nervous system.
Lidocaine has an anesthetic effect. For diseases of the musculoskeletal system, the drug reduces the severity of the inflammatory process. It has a positive effect on the body in case of degenerative diseases.
The combined effect of Artrosan and Kombilipen
A drug from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in combination with vitamins helps reduce spasm of smooth muscles and eliminate inflammatory processes in the spine.
Together with Artrosan and Kombilipen, doctors can prescribe the drug Mydocalm. It is combined with these means.
It has anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxant, adrenergic blocking and local anesthetic effects.
Indications for simultaneous use
A combination of drugs is prescribed for pain along the nerve that is caused by inflammatory or degenerative diseases of the muscles and joints. The condition can be the result of injury, ankylosing spondylitis, osteochondrosis, the appearance of a back hernia, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis.
Joint reception is possible only from 18 years of age. Treatment is not prescribed for children. Combination use of drugs is contraindicated for the following diseases and conditions:
- allergy to drug components;
- galactosemia;
- lactase deficiency;
- heart failure in the stage of decompensation;
- before and after coronary artery bypass surgery;
- bronchial asthma and intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid;
- peptic ulcer during exacerbation;
- bleeding from the digestive tract;
- acute inflammatory process in the intestinal area;
- rupture of a blood vessel in the brain;
- severe liver disease;
- renal failure;
- increased potassium levels in the blood;
- pregnancy;
- breastfeeding period;
- acute heart failure.
Caution should be exercised in case of coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure, high cholesterol, cerebrovascular diseases, alcohol abuse and in old age. It is necessary to be under the supervision of a doctor if the patient is taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents or oral glucocorticosteroids
How to take Artrosan and Combilipen
Artrosan and Combilipen should be used according to the instructions. The injections must be administered intramuscularly. During the period of acute pain syndrome, you can use Artrosan in injections, and then switch to tablets. The initial dose of the tablet drug is 7.5 mg.
From temperature
To relieve a local increase in temperature, you need to inject 2.5 ml of Artrosan. Combilipen is administered intramuscularly at 2 ml per day.

How to replace mydocalm in tablets
An effective replacement can be Sirdalud - a globally effective remedy that will be enough to use once a day.
According to numerous reviews, side effects are observed to a minimum extent: only with frequent use can it make you sleepy and cause fatigue. But they cope well even with prolonged serious muscle spasms.
If this option is not suitable, then you can pay attention to Baclofen - it is recommended much less often, because the list of side effects in its case is slightly longer, which is why it is given only in extreme situations
It is worth keeping in mind: when considering what to replace Mydocalm with, simply reading the instructions for an analogue (whether expensive or not) will in practice be too little. You need to evaluate the medication responsibly, checking the shelf life and strictly following the instructions of your personal doctor.

How can I replace Mydocalm injections?
Another method in which paracetamol can be found is Miolgin. Such a necessary ingredient not only quickly eliminates constant pain in case of a protracted illness, but also relieves a common symptom - high fever.
It is usually used for stretch marks and muscle strains in order to relieve stress on the body, although it is often used to remove the consequences of neurology. At the same time, we can safely say that Miolgin is useful for eliminating headaches.
There are only a few restrictions: the drug is not recommended for pregnant women (at any month) and mothers while breastfeeding. In addition, it is strongly recommended to look for another solution in the case of children under 18 years of age, since such medicine is prohibited for young patients.
Complex efficiency
Mydocalm, Artrosan and Kombilipen are a common combination prescribed by neurologists, neurosurgeons and surgeons.
Taking the drugs simultaneously is indicated for neuralgia caused by degenerative damage to the spinal column as a result of:
- injuries;
- osteochondrosis;
- ankylosing spondylitis;
- formation of Schmorl's nodes;
- formation of vertebral hernias.
The simultaneous use of these medications allows you to eliminate spasms of the muscles adjacent to the spine, as well as relieve inflammation directly at its source.
Neuralgia can cause strong muscle contractions at the site of nerve damage, which are accompanied by acute pain and inflammation. Neurologists prescribe taking Mydocalm along with these drugs to achieve anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant effects.
Analogues of NSAIDs and vitamin preparations
Instead of Artrosan, on the recommendation of a doctor, you can buy Movalis tablets or suppositories, Meloxicam injection solution, Amelotex topical gel and other drugs with Meloxicam. If the active substance is intolerant, an NSAID with a different ATC code is selected.
Instead of Kombilipen, you can buy Instenon, Keltican, Trigamma and other structural analogues of the B12 + B6 + B1 complex (+ lidocaine). In case of pain, the effect of these vitamins is replaced by blockade and hormonal agents.
On a note
Artrosan, together with Kombilipen, prevents, stops, and relieves inflammation in the tissues of joints, muscles and nerves, their roots, and plexuses. The drugs should be prescribed in parallel with the use of drugs for the main (etiopathogenetic) therapy.
Application diagram
Treatment with this complex is prescribed individually; the dosage form can also be chosen between injections and tablets.
Typically, patients are prescribed the following regimen for taking Mydocalm and Combilipen with Artrosan:
- One injection of Artrosan per day for three days, 15 mg;
- One injection of Mydocalm per day for five days, 100 mg;
- One injection of Combilipen per day for five days.
Thus, for the first three days Artrosan, Combilipen and Mydocalm are given, then from the fourth day - only Mydocalm and Combilipen.
Arthrozan can be replaced with an analogue, for example, Meloxicam, Amelotex, with similar indications and composition, but at a different price. It is not recommended to replace Mydocalm Richter with analogues, despite the high cost, since it is the one that complements the drug complex Artrosan with Combilipen better than other muscle relaxants.
Mydocalm and Amelotex together
For degenerative and inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system, the combined use of the drugs Mydocalm and Combilipen is often prescribed. This takes into account not only the good compatibility of Kombilipen and Mydocalm, but also their pharmacological actions, which complement each other.
Combination of drugs
Mydocalm Richter and Kombilipen are prescribed together for the treatment of the following diseases of the musculoskeletal system:
These pathologies are accompanied by pinched nerves, impaired nerve conduction, and pathological muscle tension at the site of damage to the spinal column. Side effects can also be caused by spinal injury.
The combination of Mydocalm and Kombilipen makes it possible to eliminate the symptomatic complex in these diseases, therefore the answer to the question of whether it is possible to inject Mydocalm and Kombilipen together is clearly affirmative.
Action in combination
Combilipen and Mydocalm complement each other's healing properties. The treatment regimen can be supplemented with anti-inflammatory and painkillers. For example, Diclofenac or Movalis: Meloxicam, Artrosan and others. They relieve pain and eliminate inflammation.
Combilipen
Kombilipen injections help improve the conductivity of peripheral nerves and relieve pain in case of nerve damage. Combilipen contains B vitamins that normalize the functioning of the peripheral nervous system. Sometimes experts recommend drinking Combilipen together with Mydocalm in tablets, but a course of injections is prescribed.
The choice in favor of the injectable dosage form is justified by the fact that the drugs have less impact on the gastric mucosa and show the desired therapeutic effect faster.
Mydocalm
Mydocalm represents a pharmacological group of centrally acting muscle relaxants. This means that the active substance of the drug is able to eliminate the pathological tension of muscle tissue in those muscles that surround the damaged area of the spinal column.
It is muscle spasms that cause acute pain in diseases of the spine. Despite the high price, Mydocalm remains the predominant muscle relaxant in the treatment of osteochondrosis.
The drug is administered intramuscularly twice a day or once a day intravenously. The doctor may prescribe a modified treatment regimen depending on the severity of the disease and the individual characteristics of the patient.
You can take Mydocalm and Combilipen at the same time according to the following scheme:
- One injection of Mydocalm per day for five days;
- One injection of Combilipen per day for five days.
Sometimes the number of injections and the duration of the course can be increased by the attending physician.

Artrosan composition, indications, dosage, side effects
Composition and release form
Artrosan is produced in tablets and solution for parenteral intramuscular administration. The main active ingredient of the drug is meloxicam.
Indications
Artrosan has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic effects. The active component of the drug meloxicam reduces the activity of inflammatory mediators and reduces the permeability of vascular walls. When administered, the drug slows down free radical reactions and reduces the damaging activity of oxygen in relation to cell membranes, which allows Artrosan to be used for the treatment of degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the joints, accompanied by damage to the cartilage tissue of the articular surfaces, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteochondrosis, ankylosing spondylitis, skeletal inflammation muscles that are characterized by intense pain.
Contraindications
Artrosan is not used for the treatment of patients suffering from myocardial insufficiency in the stage of decompensation, intolerance to non-steroidal drugs, hypersensitivity to oxicams, polyposis sinusitis, bronchial asthma, exacerbation of gastric and intestinal ulcers, cerebrovascular bleeding, hemophilia, disorders of the blood coagulation system, acute renal or liver failure. Also, treatment with the drug should not be carried out on pregnant, lactating women and children under 15 years of age. The drug is not prescribed if the patient has recently undergone aortic bypass surgery.
Particular caution should be taken when prescribing the drug in cases where the patient suffers from coronary heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, diabetes mellitus, the patient has heart failure or is being treated with anticoagulants or glucocorticosteroids
Directions for use and doses
Arthrozan in the form of an injection solution is used to relieve acute pain. After relief of the condition, it is recommended to transfer the patient to treatment with an oral form of the drug. The duration of treatment and dosage of the drug is determined by the doctor. The daily dose can range from 7.5 to 15 mg/s. Treatment with high doses is carried out only if the introduction of low and medium doses did not achieve the desired result. Parenteral administration of the drug is carried out only deep intramuscularly. Artrosan tablets are taken once a day, either during or after meals. When treating with the drug, the patient should be aware that taking more than 15 mg/s Artrosan does not increase the effectiveness of therapy, but significantly increases the risk of developing erosive lesions of the stomach and intestines.
Overdose
If the dose of Artrosan is exceeded, the patient may develop abdominal pain, asystole, acute renal failure, drug-induced hepatitis, gastrointestinal bleeding and respiratory arrest. If symptoms of overdose occur, patients are prescribed symptomatic treatment and the use of enterosorbents.
Side effects
With long-term use or intolerance to Artrosan, the patient may experience dyspeptic disorders, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, abdominal pain, urticaria, itching, bronchospasm, headaches, dizziness, peripheral edema, facial flushing, hypertension, conjunctivitis, anaphylactic shock.
Side effects
The treatment is well tolerated by patients, but in some cases, adverse reactions from organs and systems may occur:
- Nervous. Dizziness, migraine, fatigue, mood swings, confusion.
- Cardiovascular. Tissue swelling, arterial hypertension, rapid heartbeat.
- Digestive tract. Indigestion, nausea, vomiting, constipation, ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, bleeding from the intestines, abdominal pain.
- Skin. Skin rashes, itching, facial redness, anaphylaxis.
- Musculoskeletal. Convulsive seizures.
- Respiratory. Bronchial spasm.
- Urinary. Failure of kidney function, protein in the urine, increased concentration of creatinine in the blood.
If the dosage is exceeded or administered quickly, irritation occurs at the injection site. If adverse reactions are observed, treatment should be discontinued. Symptoms disappear after discontinuation of the drug.
Contraindications
In some cases, the drug is contraindicated. First of all, these are conditions in women such as pregnancy and breastfeeding. This is due to the fact that the components contained in Combilipen penetrate the placental barrier and into breast milk. Therefore, it is completely unknown what consequences the mother’s taking the drug will have for the child.
Children should not take the drug either. The reason is that there is insufficient data indicating the safety of the drug for children, and also because the solution contains benzyl alcohol. Taking the drug is also contraindicated in acute forms of cardiovascular failure, or in case of intolerance to individual components of the drug.
Release forms
Combilipen is available in two main versions - in the form of a solution for intramuscular administration and in the form of tablets. The latest type of drug is called Combilipen Tabs.
Number of individual components in solution:
- thiamine hydrochloride – 50 mg,
- pyridoxine hydrochloride – 50 mg,
- cyanocobalamin – 500 mcg.
In addition to vitamins, the solution includes another important component - the anesthetic lidocaine.
The amount of lidocaine hydrochloride is 10 mg. A number of excipients are also present - benzyl alcohol, sodium hydroxide, sodium tripolyphosphate, potassium hexacyanoferrate, and water. These compounds facilitate the absorption of active substances by the body and ensure their safety in the composition of the drug. Each tablet contains 100 mcg of vitamins B1 and B6 and 2 mg of cyanocobalamin.
Kombilipen solution is available in 2 ml ampoules.
Description
The drug is a combination drug and consists of three main components. These are B vitamins that are well known to have a positive effect on the functioning of the nervous system.
The composition of the drug includes:
Thiamine is vitamin B1. In the preparation it is presented in a fat-soluble form - in the form of benfotiamine. Among all vitamins, it has the greatest effect on the performance of the nervous system. Thiamine ensures normal conduction of nerve impulses and the delivery of glucose to nerve cells. It is known that a lack of this vitamin in food causes a serious disease of the nervous system, beriberi.
Pyridoxine takes part in many metabolic processes in the body, in particular in the circulation of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Without this vitamin, the processes of creating new blood cells and transmitting synaptic signals in nerve fibers are impossible. Thiamine and pyridoxine have a mutually potentiating effect, and enhance each other's effectiveness when taken simultaneously.
Cyanocobalamin is involved in the production of many substances necessary for the normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system, for example, myelin, choline, some nucleic acids and folic acid. Lack of this vitamin leads to anemia. Cyanocobalamin can accumulate in the body.
The Combilipen solution also contains lidocaine. The purpose of lidocaine is dual. Firstly, it provides anesthesia for injections, and secondly, it has a vasodilating effect, as a result of which vitamins are better absorbed by the body.
Reviews about the drug are generally positive, both from doctors and patients. Many of those who took the drug report that its systematic use helped improve their condition. However, some patients indicate the presence of side effects when using the drug.
The most popular domestic and cheap analogues of the drug Mydocalm
Domestic analogues in tablets
Tizalud is also considered a muscle relaxant that promises an all-encompassing effect, as a good alternative to replacing Mydocalm. Through the provoked inhibition of the stage of manifestation of interneurons of excitatory amino acids, pauses are created when an impulse is given in the spinal cord area.
The described mechanism of action maintains the body in a normal state, and at the same time with the effect, a moderate calming effect on muscle tissue is manifested.
In fact, the drug noticeably inhibits the rapid change of cramps and uncontrolled muscle work, after which the resistance to apathetic movements disappears and in return there is a desire for active actions (the tone increases).
Domestic injection analogues
Another analogue of Mydocalm, which is available both in injection format and in tablets with tablets, is Tolperisone. The main advantage in favor of the duplicate in question is that its price is actually half lower than the original in all pharmacies.
Given its availability and effectiveness, the interchangeable medication is actively used for upcoming rehabilitation (but not prevention).
The almost complete absence of side effects and the minimum level of contraindications in contrast to the medicinal features of the drug allow us to safely add it to the list of the best choice for the upcoming course.

Instructions for use
Despite the fact that Combilipen belongs to the category of vitamin complexes, it is a rather serious drug, and it is unacceptable to take it without a doctor’s recommendation.
In most cases, Combilipen injections are more effective. They are usually used for exacerbation of neurological diseases. If the doctor has prescribed Kombilipen injections, then he must determine the frequency of injections, as well as the duration of the course of treatment.
The usual dose of vitamins during exacerbation of diseases is an injection daily for 5-7 days. Subsequently, 2-3 injections are given over one to two weeks. If the disease is mild, you can immediately prescribe 2-3 injections per week. Two weeks is usually the maximum duration of therapy. 2 ml of solution is administered per injection.
In some cases, the patient can administer the injections themselves. However, it must be remembered that injections should be given intramuscularly and not intravenously. When administered intramuscularly, Combilipen will remain at the injection site for a long time and gradually enter the bloodstream, but when administered intravenously, various side effects are possible. Typically, an injection of the drug is given in the area of the buttock, but if the patient administers it independently, then this can also be done in the area of the front surface of the thigh.
According to the instructions for use, when taking the drug in tablet form, the usual dosage is 1 tablet 1-3 times a day. The frequency of administration is determined by the doctor depending on the severity of the disease. The course of treatment usually lasts several weeks (but not more than a month). With long-term use of the drug (for six months), neuropathies may occur.
It is best to take tablets after meals. As a rule, taking the drug in tablet form is indicated outside the period of exacerbations of the disease or in its chronic form. During the course of treatment, weekly monitoring by a doctor is required.

Interaction with other substances and medications
Combilipen should not be taken together with a number of other medications. Some of these medications reduce the effectiveness of the components included in Combilipen, while others can neutralize them altogether.
Thiamine is incompatible with mercuric chloride, tannic acid, riboflavinic acid, dextrose, and copper. Pyrixidine should not be used together with levodopa, cyanocobalamin - with salts of heavy metals, ascorbic acid.
When using the intravenous version of Combilipen, it should be borne in mind that epinephrine and norepinephrine together with lidocaine can negatively affect cardiac activity.
It is not recommended to take the product simultaneously with other multivitamin preparations containing B vitamins due to the risk of overdose. Also, taking the drug is incompatible with alcohol, since ethanol can nullify the entire effectiveness of the treatment.
