Release form and composition

The drug is produced in the form of a balm (a homogeneous thick mass that does not contain foreign impurities, with a herbal odor):

for the spine and joints (75 ml in a plastic tube, 1 tube in a cardboard box);
massage for the spine and joints (100 ml in a plastic tube, 1 tube in a cardboard box);
forte for the spine and joints (75 or 125 ml in a plastic tube, 1 tube in a cardboard box).

The composition of the balm/massage balm for the spine and joints includes: badger fat, bear fat, mumiyo, beeswax, propolis, chaga extract, sea buckthorn oil, linseed oil, olive oil, cedar oil; extracts: golden root, cinquefoil, St. John's wort, chamomile, eucalyptus, red pepper; D-panthenol, collagen hydrolysate, preservatives.

The composition of balm forte for the spine and joints includes: bear bile, mummy, beeswax, propolis, chaga extract, Australian tea tree oil, sea buckthorn oil, bee venom, water enriched with silver ions; oil extracts: chamomile, ginkgo biloba, celandine, aloe, rose hips, nettle; collagen hydrolyzate, glycerin, D-panthenol, withanol, vitamins A and E, lanolin, preservatives.

Instructions for use of Valentin Dikul Balm for the spine and joints: method and dosage

According to the instructions, Valentin Dikul Balm for the spine and joints is used externally. After treating the affected area with the product, it should be wrapped in woolen cloth.

Recommended dosing regimen for balm/massage balm (frequency of use – 2 times a day):

radiculitis, osteochondrosis during exacerbation; neuralgic pain: the product is applied with light massaging movements for 7 minutes, course – 7–21 days;
arthritis, arthrosis, gout: the drug is applied and intensively rubbed in a circular motion for 7–10 minutes, course 14–28 days.

Recommended dosage regimen for balm forte (frequency of use - 2-3 times a day):

against the background of decreased immunity, increased physical activity, hypothermia, colds and other factors that aggravate the threat of exacerbations of musculoskeletal diseases, for prevention purposes: the balm is vigorously rubbed into the risk area for 3 minutes (without wrapping);
osteochondrosis, radiculitis during an exacerbation, neuralgic pain: apply the product with gentle massaging movements for 2 minutes; course – from 7 to 42 days;
arthrosis, arthritis, gout: rub the balm intensively in a circular motion for 3–5 minutes; course – from 14 to 42 days.

Basic surgical techniques

Discectomy or microdiscectomy
: removal of a herniated intervertebral disc to decompress the root. Microdiscectomy is a procedure performed under CT guidance.
Laminectomy:
Removal of a thin plate of bone from the back of a vertebra to increase space within the spinal canal and relieve pressure on the spine.
Laminotomy
: removal of part of the vertebral arch (lamina) that covers the spinal cord. A laminotomy removes less bone than a laminectomy.
Both laminectomy and laminotomy are decompression procedures. Decompression usually means that the compressive effect on the spinal root is removed.
Foraminotomy:
